Terms and Conditions For Wings Weddings.

  • The Wedding Contract is with Wings Europe Limited Registered UK company.
  • Venue/location” means the venue at which your wedding is held, “wedding” also means (where applicable) a civil partnership, “wedding package” means the services relating to your Wedding which Wings agree to provide to you;

Making your booking

  • You may make a verbal or a provisional booking with us, please note this is not legally binding on either you or Wings (us) unless a contract is signed or an email confirmation and a confirmed deposit received.
  • Payments can be made by bank transfer, or Pay Play *# please note that your 100% of any deposit will not be refunded if you subsequently cancel a confirmed booking.
  • Cancellation process is explained in detail below (see Table). A contract is only formed between the client (you) and Wings when Wings confirm receipt of the deposit No booking application shall be binding on us and no contract shall be formed until Wings confirms.

Your Wedding

  • The general content of your wedding shall be as set out in your quotation, or as otherwise subsequently agreed with us in writing and Wings. It’s normal that certain details of a wedding package can be requested to change (for example, the exact numbers of guests to be catered for, the menu, and fine details) in the period leading up to your wedding.
  • In our confirmation of the booking Wings will provide you with detail Wings has so far. Received from you or the suppliers

Price

  • If not all components of the price in the quotation are stated to be fixed (for example, because they depend on the number of guests to be catered for), the final price will be determined either in accordance with the quotation (for example, the charge “per head” for meals) or as otherwise agreed with us (for example, if there are any “extra” services eg Flowers etc. not set out in the quotation which we subsequently agreed to provide to you).
  • The Invoice will be charged at the current rate of VAT any changes between the contract date and the final invoice will be reflected and adjusted accordingly. Unless you have already paid for your wedding package in full before the change in the rate of takes effect.

Payment of Balance

  • Wings will invoice you for the total price of your wedding balance (less any deposit paid) approximately 6 weeks before the scheduled date of your wedding. Invoices must be paid in full no later than 5 working days from the date of final invoice.

Your responsibilities

  • You must confirm final catering numbers no later than 6 weeks before your wedding so we are able to raise a final invoice. Subsequent increases in numbers will be invoiced separately. Please note, no refunds will be given for any decrease in numbers great than 10% of the final booking.
  • You must provide us, by the dates we may reasonably request of you, with any other information we ask for, so that we may finalise the details of your wedding and/or its price.
  • You must comply with Wings, and use your reasonable endeavors to ensure that your guests comply with our reasonable instructions intended to ensure the safety of property and people at the venue. E.g. Health & Safety Regulations/ local laws.
  • Any damages caused to the Venue, its equipment, contents or fittings will be invoiced directly to the couple immediately after the event. We will notify you immediately and record the incident in a log book and where applicable take evidence e.g. Photographs.
  • Details of any additional third party suppliers we provide to you are intended to help you in arranging other services to be provided in connection with your wedding. If you do engage these or any other third party suppliers of your choice, we accept no responsibility for their performance of services and you should take up any complaints with them directly. You are also responsible for paying their charges directly. Wings can reserve the right not to allow vendors into any venue or third party suppliers who do not meet our requirements intended to ensure the safety and welfare of property and people.

Cancellation by you

  • If you wish to cancel a confirmed booking, you must do so and inform Wings as soon as possible.
  • We will use all reasonable endeavors to “re-sell” the date to another couple. However, you must pay us any losses and costs we suffer because of the cancellation.
  • Depending on when you cancel, the cancellation charges you must pay shall be determined by reference to the table below. We will tell you the exact cancellation charges once we know whether or not we have been able to resell the date, and you must pay the charges within 20 working days of our invoice.
  • Where the final price has yet to be finalized (for example, because you have not yet confirmed catering numbers), we shall base the cancellation charges on any minimum numbers set out in the quotation.

Cancellation by Wings

Wings reserve the right to cancel your booking without liability to you and without any obligation to refund your deposit if:

  • you do not pay us the balance of your wedding price by the date due for such payment; or
    (b) we have reasonable grounds to believe that you may not pay us the balance of your wedding package price by the due date and we have requested you to explain communicate with us and you have not done so satisfactorily; or
  • If we cancel your booking, you must pay us any losses and costs we suffer because of the cancellation which were reasonably foreseeable to both you and Wings when the contract was entered into, whether or not we are able to resell the date. Depending on when we cancel, the cancellation charges you must pay will be determined by reference to the table set out above.

Events outside our control

  • Wings shall not be liable or responsible for any failure to perform, or delay in performance of, any of our obligations under our contract with you that is caused by events outside our reasonable control (such as serious damage to the venue, serious adverse weather conditions, a pandemic or epidemic, or interruption or failure of utility services such as electric power, gas or water). In these circumstances, we shall use every effort to notify you as soon as is reasonably practical and if, as a result of such events, we believe we have no alternative but to cancel your booking, we shall use reasonable endeavors to help you find an alternative venue of a similar standard for a similar price and work with you.
