On Land. Staying in an Italian Farmhouse , Oltrepo Pavese, Italy’s largest wine region, here you will have the opportunity to relax, swim in your private pool, escorted walking tours ,vineyards and cooking lessons, be assured your hosts will be at hand to show you around the area.
At Sea. Your private yacht is chartered exclusively for Wings through under the guidance of a professionally qualified and experienced Italian skipper. Whilst this is a professional sailing yacht, it’s your holiday and you can get as involved as you wish, hoisting the sails, taking the helm, or, if you prefer just relaxing, swimming, sunbathing and letting someone else do all the work whilst you enjoy one of the most exclusive areas of the Italian and French Riviera!
| Day 1 | Arrive at Milan. Meet and greet, private transfer to Oltrepo Pavese the famous wine area just south of Milan. 1st Dinner. |
| Day 2 | Explore Oltrepo Pavese. Breakfast, Lunch Dinner. |
| Day 3 | Walking tour through the vineyards and hills of Oltrepo Pavese. Breakfast, Lunch provided, and group dinner at your own expense can be arranged. |
| Day 4 | Join the Yacht After breakfast leave the White Horse Barn and transfer to the Italian seaside resort and marina of Loana, boarding your private yacht, preparing for your 4-night adventure. The marina is full of restaurants, shops, and the nearby town is within walking distance. |
| Day 5 | Depart the harbor. setting sail for the famous Italian resort of San Remo, docking in the marina, and having the chance to explore San Remo.Breakfast, lunch, and Dinner on board. |
| Day 6 | San Remo to Monte Carlo Breakfast, Lunch onboard. Group dinner in Monte Carlo can be arranged. |
| Day 7 | Monte Carlo to Menton Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner are on board. |
| Day 8 | Depature Ready to depart for the airport. |
Italian Farmhouse The White Horse Barn .
- 5 Bedrooms, 2 shared bathrooms; one bedroom has a walk in en-suite shower.
- Wines and Cheese.
- The owners Claire and Andrea @ WingsItaly have been accredited 5* for their wine and cooking adventures, and the farmhouse 4. 8 *on booking platforms.
- The White Horse Barn was a former farm, it’s been lovingly restored, however despite major improvements the owners have tried to retain the original characteristics.
- There is a swimming pool, large outdoor terrace, the atmosphere is home from home. It is set in a rural wine area and on a clear day the views of the Alps are awesome .
- Whilst you will not find bars and nightclubs on your doorstep the farmhouse has its own wine cellar so perhaps you can have your own party or too!

PLEASE NOTE: It is important to note that as with all sailing adventures the weather, winds and nature completely define this itinerary, it may be that you start the adventure by sea, then land afterwards, this depends on the best weather conditions during this adventure . You will be notified prior .
Your skipper and crew are your guides, this adventure is focussed on an intimate group, enjoying sights and experiences you won’t find in any guidebook or any other holiday package.
Relaxing, swimming, Italian and French cuisines, culture and hidden treasures. Snorkelling, sun bathing, rolling out of bed and into the sea. If you’re the kind of person who loves the water, then sailing holidays are for you.
A high level of flexibility and spontaneity is required due to the elements of the weather and sharing a yacht inside and out.
Your Skipper and crew will be officially in charge of taking care of the yacht. Though depending on your level of sailing experience you can do as much or as little as you like, taking the helm, as long as the skipper feels it is safe to do so.
Skippers generally are allocated a cabin to themselves for the duration of your charter, though occasionally this can change and worked around with the crew of WingsItaly.
Rest assured our Skippers and crew are professionals who are comfortable with meeting new people and adept at reading different social situations, your host WingsItaly will be at hand.
For those with a spirit of adventure a love of the sea and a desire to drift off the beaten track. Each day can change and you can find secluded bays only accessible from the sea, take a leap into the shimmering Mediterranean or just get lost in the latest bestseller on the sun-kissed deck. Then, as the sun sets arrives you will be ready for your evening Aperitivo.
This is not a holiday defined by an itinerary, it’s a full immersion into an adventure that will bring you together as a group, allowing you to really get to the heart of these regions you’re exploring and experiencing. Optional Extras Spending money , 2 evening meals are not included and 1 lunch , other costs outside of this itinerary. Life on board Mix of sightseeing and sailing, enjoying time to explore the areas with stops and finding a hidden spot or two on the way to your next destination for a dip ! The skipper will aim to get you to the marina (or anchored just a short tender away from shore). This adventure is in a region where the waters tend to be calm, and where the wind is not strong yet still reliable. Life on board a yacht is fun, forges strong friendships and living quarters are cosy! Good to know
Weather conditions may require changes to your itinerary; the skipper will discuss any changes with you at the time. → This adventure is perfect for anyone, with little or no experience, or completely new to sailing, or, seasoned sailors who just want to spend time at sea with no pressure of being in charge.
This adventure is not aligned to clients wanting an exhalating sailing experience at sea, it will be focused on following calm waters and winds, swimming ,relaxing and hopefully a few dolphins sighting too.
It is recommends that whilst you are moored in a Marina, you utilise the facilities within the Marina, e.g., toilets, bathrooms, showers etc. *Aperitivo typically includes white, red, or sparkling wines, crisps, olives, bruschetta and grissini, *Unlimited Wines, your safety is key and our priority , therefore a reasonable approach to drinking alcohol is required and necessary for your own safety, and of course those of the guests and crew. In typical Italian style expect wines to be enjoyed during eating, relaxing and socialising. Your skipper has the ultimate responsibility of everyone’s safety.

Please Note: The River Po evening sunset cruise is dependent on the river conditions, recent droughts have caused the river levels to be low, if this has to be cancelled an alternative event will be offered.
